In June 2009 I was commissioned to photograph the life and living conditions of the 200,000 Palestinians that live in the 12 official refugee camps in Lebanon.
Almost all refugees in the camps feel that their homes here are only temporary; they believe that one day they will return to their homeland. The title (Bitter Homes) fully describes the feelings that the refugees have towards the camps.
And inside you have to discover the reality, not create it; because anything created by you cannot be but imagination. You simply have to go in, in silence, and watch - just be alert and aware so that you can see whatever is real. Osho
